Hi There- I’m Moira Thorne, often going by my middle name Momo. I’m a creative lead and manager who’s been responsible for building and leading teams and design work (graphic and motion design) who’s remained hands-on across the board, from pre-production, cinematography, post design, design and animation. My portfolio highlights my contributions to significant creative initiatives for brands including HD Supply, Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic, Jimmy Johns, and Dunkin Donuts to name a few. I am excellent at promoting high standards for creative work, striking a balance between technical and commercial needs, and promoting audience-first narrative and conversion strategies. With a strong emphasis in the motion design space, I’ve also handled all footage (filming, shooting, post) and assets (stock photography/video, captured customer interviews). Furthermore, I’m often in direct contact with exec-level client contacts, and manages initial scope and expectations throughout the project lifecycle, from concept brief to completion, animation, illustration, live action video, all along helping to codify strategic messaging.

I have led teams and been the point person for leading vendors in projects that vary from photoshoots, executive initiatives, national conferences, and marketing campaigns. I have also worked with teaching interns and onboarded team members from other departments on video workflow and pipeline requirements. My working style includes over communicating and making sure I ask all the necessary questions during the initial scope meeting, so I am aware of a client’s goals, what they want to communicate to audiences, and what branding style fits them the best. I also am always looking for ways to elevate projects to their fullest potential and take the client’s vision to the next level.
